FOR WAR PRODUCTION IN U.S.A. PROVISION FOR GUARANTEED LOANS. (By Telegraph—Press (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 26. • President Roosevelt, by an execu? tive order, authorised the financing of war contracts of small businesses by guaranteed loans. The War and Navy Departments and the Maritime Commission may enter Into contracts with the Federal Reserve Bank, R.F.C., or other financial institutions guaranteeing against loss the principal or interest for financing war output by small firms. A. White House statement said high officials expressed the opinion that this order would greatly speed the war production of small business and sub-contractors generally.
