ACTIVITY IN LIBYA
LAND AND AIR PATROL ENEMY ARMOURED CARS FORCED BACK. SORTIES BY HURRICANES. LONDON, March 26. In Libya movements of enemy transport are reported in areas south of Tmimi and west of Mekili. Armoured cars south of Tmimi were shelled. Enemy armoured cars were forced to withdraw. Offensive patrols were continued and in the forward areas sorties were made by Hurrican planes.
