AIRMAN EXECUTED
MURDER OF SWEETHEART. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 25. Aircraftman David Roger Williams, R.A.F., was executed at Liverpool for the murder of his sweetheart, Elizabeth Smith, by knocking her 'into a stream and holding her head under water until she was unconscious. She died later from bronchial pneumonia.
