An official reminder is given building contractors and sub-contractors, reading contractors, local authorities and other employers of labour and owners or persons in charge of plant and equipment capable of being used on Defence construction works, that building construction control notices require various returns to be furnished to the Building Controller by tomorrow. After specifying details of the returns required in respect of machinery, plant, etc., labour employed on constructional work and other information relating to such work, an official statement, urges local authorities or individuals who have not yet completed returns to do so immediately, as the information is required urgently in connection with the prosecution of the Defence building programme.
