USE OF RESELLERS’ TANKS. APPEAL FOR EARLY RETURN OF DRUMS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Supply, Mr D. G. Sullivan, stated that arrangements are being made with oil companies and resellers to fill a large number of tanks cn petrol stations. The Minister appealed to all holders of empty 44-gal-lon drums to return these at the earliest possible moment to the nearest company depot. These arrangements, said the Minister, are being made in order that all the storage capacity in the country may be utilised to a maximum extent for the storage of motor spirit and aviation fuel. The oil companies and resellers are co-operating with the Government in this matter and licensed road transport and, industry are prepared to assist in the transport of empty drums in rural areas. At most stations throughout the country one. or at most two of the pumps will be u'sed to supply the public.
