MILK ALLOWANCE
INCREASED IN BRITAIN. CALCIUM IN “NATIONAL BREAD.” LONDON, March 24. The British Minister of Food, Lord Woolton, announced that the milk allowance for adults is to be increased from 2| pints to 3 pints a week. The bread made from wholemeal is to be known as national bread. It will contain calcium.
