REGENT THEATRE

“CITIZEN KANE.” The outstanding picture, “Citizen Kane,” which will be shown tonight, is so revolutionary in all departments that it is impossible to make a comparison; it flouts all the accepted rules of Hollywood picture making. The film is composed of vividly dramatic sequences re-created by the posthumour examination of a man's life by reporters assigned to discover the meaning of the dying Kane’s last word. The cast is about as perfect as any seen in a film, and only a few of its members have previously appeared on the screen. In addition to Orson Welles as Kane, leading players include Joseph Cotten, Dorothy Comingore, Everett Sloane and Ray Collins.
