INVASION OF TURKEY
DIPLOMAT’S EXPECTATION. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) CHUNGKING, March 23. The Turkish Charge d’Affaires, M. Menon Meblan, hinted that Turkey expects an invasion. He declared that Turkey would resist to the last man. In a statement appearing in the “Central Daily News” M. Meblan declared that Turkey was maintaining hei’ stability as long as possible, but was vigilantly preparing to meet the coming crisis.
