TRIAL BLACKOUT

IN MASTERTON ON SUNDAY NIGHT LIGHTED VEHICLES TO PARK. INSTRUCTIONS TO WARDENS. All lighting wardens'in Masterton are meeting this week to receive instructions with regard to their duties in the coming trial blackout, which is to be held on Sunday night next, March 22. At the sound of the alert, all vehicles whose lights are not in accordance with the blackout regulations must park without lights at the side of the road, wherever they happen to be, and stay there until the all clear is sounded. Moving vehicles with incorrect lights will be signalled to stop by wardens waving their torches, and the numbers of all vehicles whose drivers fail to obey the signal will be taken. Wardens will patrol their respective areas and in this instance will point out any breaches they observe, afterwards reporting to their district wardens at the appointed place.
