LADY GALWAY GUILD
APPEAL FOR CLOTHING. Up till recently the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild has been despatching to Great Britain clothing, etc., donated by the people of New Zealand. It has now been decided that before sending anything further to England a reserve stock shall be built up to meet the possible needs of local E.P.S. organisations. It is felt that the Guild can materially assist in this work of providing for a contingency. What is required is to accumulate a supply of clothing, blankets, etc., which will be immediately available if the need arises. The duty of the Guild will be to receive, sort, classify and store the articles sent in. The public are asked to give their support to this appeal as they have so generously done in the past, by sending in to the local branch of the Guild at their rooms in Dixon Street gifts of clothing.
