COLLEGE BOARD

MEETING OF GOVERNORS. ELECTION FOR THREE PARENTS’ REPRESENTATIVES. At last night’s meeting of the Wairarapa College Board of Governors it was stated that an election for three parents’ representatives would be held shortly. The roll would close on March 20 and nominations on March 24. The closing day for receiving votes would be April 8 and the counting of the votes would take place on April 15. The present parents’ representatives were Messrs F. C. Daniell, F. M. Whyte and G. C. L. Dickel. The lastnamed no longer resided in the district. Votes of thanks were passed for the loan of instructors for the recent barracks held at the College and to Mr A. C. Tatton for a demonstration of gymnastics and to Mr J. C. Cooper and Mesdames D. K. McKenzie and J. O. Thomson, for giving instruction in first aid to the girls. It was decided to purchase first aid equipment for the College.
