WESTFIELD STRIKE
NO SETTLEMENT REACHED MEETING TODAY. FURTHER DISCUSSION ON WEDNESDAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A meeting of the men in connection with the freezing workers’ strike was held in the Trades Hall today. The secretary, Mr Sill, said later that there was no settlement and that a further meeting would be held on Wednesday next. He said meetings were being held in other works to discuss the matter.
