WOMAN KILLED INSTANTLY. TRAGEDY AT LOWER HUTT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, his Day. An elderly woman was killed instantaneously at Lower Hutt on Saturday night when she was struck by a taxi. She was Mrs Mary Foon, aged 78, 41 Wakefield Street, Lower Hutt. The accident occurred at about 10.40 o’clock. The taxi was travelling down the Cuba Street ramp when it struck Mrs Foon.
