Mr Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.50; shade temperature, maximum 66.2, minimum 44; terrestrial, 35.1; sunshine, 8 hours 48 minutes; rain, 20 points. Solway: Mr IT. M. Boddington reports that 20 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. New moon, March 17. First quarter, March 25.
