SINCE LAST SATURDAY MEMBERS OF DUTCH COUNCIL. ARRIVAL IN AUSTRALIA BY AIR. (By Telegraph—-Press Association—Copyright) ADELAIDE, March 9. The Governor-General of the Netherlands East Indies, Dr. Van Mook, and 14 members of the Indies Governing Council, have arrived in Australia by plane. News of what is happening in Java, communication with which ceased on March 7, is still awaited. A Canberra message states that it is expected that the temporary headquarters of the Netherlands East Indies Government will be established in Australia. Dr. Van Mook and the members of his Government have been accompanied to Australia by leading permanent officials of the Government.
