FURIOUS OVER PARIS RAID ACTION URGED AGAINST INTERNED BRITONS. OFFICIAL MOURNING FOR VICTIMS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) VICHY, March 6. Two Paris newspapers, commenting on the R.A.F. raid, demand that British subjects in France be treated as hostages. The “Cri du Peuple” further demands that British-owned property in the Riviera be handed over to raid victims. Mourning for the raid victims is to begin on Saturday morning, and at noon on Sunday. Theatres, cinemas and other public places are closing all day on Saturday. A service is being held in Notre Dame on Sunday.
