LIME WORKER KILLED

FALL FROM MOTOR TRUCK. FATALITY NEAR WAIPAWA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIPAWA, February 28. A lime worker was killed instantly this morning when he fell from the tray of a motor-lorry on the way to his work. He was: Samuel Bennett, married of Waipawa. He had a family of 15. Mr Bennett was employed at the Onga-Tiko Lime Company’s works at Ruataniwha, three miles from Waipawa. The company’s heavy truck left as usual for the works and it is stated that Mi' Bennett, who was riding on the back, lost his balance when the truck was rounding a bend and fell head-first on to the rdad.
