At the Victoria Racing Club's meeting at Flemington on Saturday the Sire Produce Stakes was won by Regency, which is owned by Mr W. R. Kemball, formerly of Masterton, and is trained by Mr Harry Hilton, a former resident of Masterton, who was a prominent member of the Albion Football Club seniors and a Wairarapa representative footballer, some 40 years ago. Regency has won every race in which he has competed over distances from 5 furlongs to 7 furlongs.
