Secret. Flight, 8.2, was omitted from the telegraphed list of acceptors for the Publicans’ Handicap to be run at Wingatui tomorrow. The presence of the crack stayers Beau Leon and Lou Rosa will give great interest to the Herries Memorial Cup. They are equal topweights with 9.12, and both may be expected to run well. Beau Leon was considered unlucky when beaten in the Takapuna Cup last month with 10.0, and Lou Rosa demonstrated that he was in great form by winning the Storey Memorial Handicap at Te Rapa last week with 9.6. One factor that may assist the topweights is that the field is not too big.
