HOLD-UP IN LIBYA
SAND=STORMS & GROUND MIST LIMITED LAND CONTACT WITH ENEMY. MORE AIR RAIDS ON AXIS BASES. LONDON, February 26. Land and air operations in Libya have been hampered by sandstorms and ground mist. Patrol activities continue on a reduced scale. Contact was made only occasionally with small parties of the enemy. Benghazi, Tripoli and other bases were raided by the R.A.F.
