“ALADDIN”
J. C. WILLIAMSON PANTOMIME. The box plans will be opened tomorrow morning at nine o’clock at Messrs Steele and Bull’s shop for the production of J. C. Williamson’s gorgeous pantomime “Aladdin,” which is to be staged at the Opera House on Saturday and Monday nights and on Monday afternoon, beginning at 2 o’clock. “Aladdin” is rich in comedy, there are good choruses, numerous song successes, many unique and novel features and brilliant dancing by a talented ballet of lovely girls in their teens and by twenty delightful children whose ages range from 7 to 12 years. It was when they were definitely enabled to procure the Great Levante for the role of Abanazar, the wicked magician, that the directors of J. C. Williamson decided to produce “Aladdin.” It is a part that calls for outstanding artistry and the famous magician has achieved his best success as Abanazar. “Aladdin.” will provide a great treat for old and young. Miss Doris Whimp makes a dashing “principal boy.”
