“BLESS ’EM ALL” DANCE

LARGE CROWD AT MASONIC HALL. The “Bless ’em All” dance held in the Masonic Hall last night by the indoor staff of the Masterton Hospital attracted a large attendance of the public. Mr A. L. Askew was the M.C. and Barnes’s Orchestra played the dance niusic, extras being contributed by Miss Haeata. Features of the evening were vocal items by Mrs Downer, of Wellington, and an exhibition tap dance by Miss Vivienne Pratt and Judith Brown, the latter being only four years of age. The winners of the Monte Carlo competition were Mr Potangaroa and partner, and of the Lucky Spot contest Miss L. Morris and Mr H. Waipuku. Supper was provided by a ladies committee. The dance was held in aid of the overseas parcels fund and two donations to the fund were handed in during the evening.
