SIGHTED OFF COAST OF NORWAY BATTLE OF ATLANTIC. GREAT IMPROVEMENT NOTED BY FIRST LORD. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, February 21. The Stockholm radio says that the German warships von Tirpitz, Admiral Scheer and Admiral Hipper are reported to have been sighted steaming northward along the coast of Norway. “A great improvement in the Battle of the°Atlantic has taken place during the last months of 1941,” said Mr A. V. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, opening Grantham’S warships “Never before in naval history have we been so stretched. Yet considering that we have been at war for two years and a half, we have suffered remarkably little in our standard of Hie and comfort.”
