MASTERTON WEST SCHOOL

BUSINESS AT COMMITTEE MEETING. GRANT OF £240 TOWARDS DENTAL CLINIC. The monthly meeting of the Masterton West School was presided over by Mr E. R. Rogers. Advice was received that a grant of £240 .towards establishing a dental clinic at the school had been made by the Education Department. The headmaster, Mr J. P. Farrell, reported that the school opened with a roll of 322. Emergency drill was being practised regularly. Twenty-three certificates for home gardening had been issued by Mr F. C. Brockett, instructor in agriculture.
