WOMEN’S INSTITUTE MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Tinui Women’s Institute was held in the Tinui Hall when Mrs Speedy presided over a fair attendance of members. The secretary read history of the Tinui Women’s Institute since its formation eleven years ago. A most interesting article on Singapore was read by Mrs Speedy. Competitions were won as follow:— Article from sugar-bag: Mrs O’Hara 1, Mrs Street and Mrs Beck (equal) 2. Bottled plums: Mrs Street 1, Mrs Thorby 2, Mrs Street 3. Best bloom: Mrs Brodrick 1, Miss O'Hara 2, Miss Mac Alister 3.
