BANKRUPTCY MEETING

ADJOURNMENT FOR THREE MONTHS. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Arthur Owen Byrne, labourer of Carterton, was held in Masterton this morning before the D.0.A., Mr A. D. Low. Ten creditors were represented. Bankrupt’s total debts were shown at £247 and the assets at nil. The meeting was adjourned for three months and at the end of that period bankrupt is to produce a statement of his receipts covering that period and to make some endeavour to reduce the claims of creditors.
