EKETAHUNA
FAREWELL GATHERING MR AND MRS F. ROBINSON. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs Frank Robinson, of Eketahuna, were farewelled on the eve of their departure for Palmerston North. Mr Robinson, who had been for some years on the staff of the Eketahuna Post Office, has been transferred to the Palmerston North staff. The members of the Presbyterian Church and friends were responsible for the gathering. Mr and Mrs A. B. Fordyce lent their home for the occasion, and an enjoyable time was spent. A musical programme, interspersed with games and competitions, provided pleasure for all. A presentation was made to Mr and Mrs Robinson by the Rev. D. McNeur, who referred to the excellent service given by Mr Robinson as church organist and a member of the management committee, and to the loyal co-operation of Mrs Robinson in all matters relating to the general welfare of the church. A wide circle of friends in Eketahuna will wish Mr and Mrs Robinson happiness and success in their new place of residence.
