STRUCK BY BRITISH NAVAL AIRCRAFT ATTACK ON ITALIAN SQUADRON. TWO CRUISERS & DESTROYER torpedoed. LONDON, February 17. British naval aircraft had another success yesterday in an attack on an Italian naval squadron in the lonian Sea. Two enemy cruisers and a destroyer were hit by torpedoes and one of the cruisers was well ablaze shortly after the action and oil was pouring from her side. The enemy squadron consisted of three cruisers and nine escorting destroyers. The ships put up a formidable barrage, but our aircraft flew in at a low level and pressed home their attack. All the British planes returned.
