NAVY AS CAREER
LCNG-SERVICE COMMISSIONS' FOR CADETS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Two cadets between 17 years and 18 years and 8 months on November 30, 1942, and two between 17 and 19 on November 30, are to be entered as officers in the Royal New Zealand Navy for long service, according to an announcement made by Mr F. Jones, Minister of Defence, who emphasised that this announcement refers solely to candidates who wish to make the New Zealand Navy their career in life and has nothing to do with service for the duration of the war only.
