The Foreign Office and the Treasury are considering cases of British nationals living abroad, particularly in America, and thus avoiding personal financial obligations to the State, says the “Sunday Times.” Particular attention is being paid ot those who left Britain at the outbreak of war and did not return within six months, as promised.
