STATE THEATRE
“THE RELUCTANT DRAGON.” Walt Disney in “The Reluctant Dragon,” which will be shown tonight, presents the many . intricate processes gone through in the production of this type of screen entertainment. Only a small proportion ot “The Reluctant Dragon” is cartoon, but the actual little story of the dragon who preferred tea and poetry to fighting and so “rigged” a b° ut with brave knight, Sir Gyles, to please the villagers is brilliantly conceived. it is a delightful symphony in Disney style, the animation and coloui being outstanding. During the film one also sees in action other Disney characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy and a newcomer, Baby Weems. The rest of the film, which is also m technicolour, features the well-known comedian, Robert Benchley.
