The members of the SolwayManaia and Dalefield-Matarawa Institutes, the Putara, Wangaehu and the Church of the Epiphany Knitting circles, the school members of St. Bride's Convent, St. Matthew’s School and Solway College, and the donors of many anonymous parcels. Thanks are also due to Misses Thompson and I. Gordon for boxes for packing and to the following for donations in money: Mesdames J. W. Perry, S. R. Gawith, D. Buchanan, P. H. Nathan, W. Curry, Misses I. Gordon, B. Barton, McKenzie and Mr P. Cooper. Seamen’s comforts for shipment overseas will be packed next Tuesday, as well as clothing to be sent to the Seamen’s Mission for men who have been torpedoed. The committee will be grateful for gifts of suits, boots, shirts and vests.
