LADIES’ AUXILIARY. GIFTS AND SERVICES ACKNOWLEDGED. The committee of the Masterton Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Navy League in Masterton wish to thank the following for gifts of garments and homespun wool and assistance with the knitting during December and January:—Mesdames D. Thanks are also due to Misses Thompson and I. Gordon for boxes for packing and to the following for donations in money: Mesdames J. W. Perry, S. R. Gawith, D. Buchanan, P. H. Nathan, W. Curry, Misses I. Gordon, B. Barton, McKenzie and Mr P. Cooper. Seamen’s comforts for shipment overseas will be packed next Tuesday, as well as clothing to be sent to the Seamen’s Mission for men who have been torpedoed. The committee will be grateful for gifts of suits, boots, shirts and vests.
