DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. A further discussion took place at the fortnightly meeting of the Masterton Druids’ Lodge regarding a new medical agreement and on the question of assistance to members called up for military duties in New Zealand. A.D. Bro. C. A. Pickering presided over a fair attendance. Reports received on sick members were favourable and accounts amounting to £6l 5s 4d were passed. P.A. Bro. F. Ellett was elected M.C. in place of P.A. Bro. N. F. Keightley, who had left Masterton on joining the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The secretary (Mr H A. R. Dunderdale) was given leave of absence from the next meeting, as he would be attending camp for a short period. The U.F.S. Dispensary report was presented by P.D.P. Bro. F. Pickering , and was considered very satisfactory. , At the conclusion of business supper . was served and members played table . tennis and indoor bowls. I I
