FOSTERING FRIENDSHIPS
ANGLO-ANZAC-HELLENIC ASSOCIATION. (N.Z.E.F. Official News Service). CAIRO, December 23. With the object of fostering and developing friendships formed during the Greek campaign, an Anglo-Anzac-Hellenic Association, under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Peter of Greece, has been formed in Cairo. The association is open to officers of the British, New Zealand and Greek forces who took part in the campaign, as well as civilians of those, countries. Several dinners, dances and cocktail parties have already been held. Major J. Leggat, a liaison officer of the 2nd N.Z.E.F., is a member of the executive committee, and was a foundation member of the association. Executive members are: —Chairman, Brigadier C. Prior, A.1.F.; secretary, Dr. J. G. Peristiany; committee, Lt.Col. Barbrook, M.E.F., Lt-Col. Kendall A.1.F., Major Leggat, N.Z.E.F., and Captain P N. Villos, R.H.A.F.
