LIKELY TO BE SHORT

SESSION OF PARLIAMENT. RESUMPTION TOMORROW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Parliamentary session is to be resumed tomorrow afternoon, and though no official indication has yet been given of its likely duration, the general impression is that it will not last more than a few days, possibly a week at the outside. Since Parliament previously met in December, the deaths have occurred of a former member of the House of Representatives, Mr John Payne, and of a member of the Legislative Council, the Hon E. Dye, and tributes of respect will be paid. It is assumed that a secret session will be held to enable members of the House to hear and discuss the latest developments in connection with the war situation.
