SOLWAY RAINFALL
RECORD FOR JANUARY. Mr H. M. Buddington reports that rain was measured at Solway on 18 days in January, the maximum fall being 1.07 inches on the 3rd, and the minimum 1 point on the Bth and 10th. The total for the month was -1.70 inches as against: 3.61 (1941 L 2.36 (1940), 58 points (1939). 4.67 (1938). 4.37 (1937 L 4.51 (1936). 'fhe average for 39 years is 2.67 inches.
