MASTERTON CLUB GAMES PROGRESSIVE FOURS. RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS. Hendry, 36/26; Daniell and Evans beat Shouler and Skeet, 23/21; Bassett and Finlayson beat Kennedy and W. Hendry, 24/23; Holdsworth and E. J. Reid beat Kerslake and Hunter, 24/23; W. Russell and Hughes beat Wyatt and Doughty, 24/21; Connell and W. Reid beat M. Reid and Christian, 24/20; de Castro and Mills beat Bain and Bannister, 44/30; Playsted and Hayne beat Haycraft and Percy, 23/16. PARK CLUB • CHAMPIONSHIP AND OTHER GAMES. Results of games played last week by members of the Masterton Park Bowling Club are as follow:— Championship fours: Andrews, Duckworth, Fenton, Dixon (s) beat Moore, Newton, O’Donnell, Jenkins (s), 36/11; Wallace, Spackman, Gibson, Kilgour (s) beat Simpson, Carr, H. Thompson, Shearer (s), 27/18. (The scores were level on the 8 th, 13th and 16th ends). Next Saturday, commencing at 1.30 p.m., Kilgour’s rink will play Trevorrow, Braggins, E. Brown, H. Smith (s) and Dixon will play E. Burke in the second round. Thompson Cup (handicap singles': Spackman beat Dixon, 17/12; Drummond beat H. Smith, 22/16. Ferns: Kilgour and H. Thompson staved off three more challenges, defeating Macpherson and E. Brown,' 24/14, Faulknor and G. Brown 23/12,, Dixon and Shearer 21/17. Feathers: The holders, Wallace and Simpson, beat White and Shearer, 22/17. Craft medals: The Post and Telegraph (holders), Taylor, Osborne, Kilgour, Burke (s) beat the Labourers. Andrews, Trevorrow, Fenton, Simpson (s), 24/9.
