In a Rugby match played at Cairo on Saturday between the New Zealand Sixth Brigade and the Cairo team, the latter won by 13 points to 6. Among the nine New Zealand players in the latter team were E. Cross (who formerly played for Red Star and Wairarapa) and Hatton (a former member of the Old Boys’ seniors, Masterton, who has also represented Wairarapa). Hatton scored a try for the Cairo team. Cross was noticeable for his fine kicking and defensive play.
