BUDGET FOR THIRD YEAR. DRAIN ON THE OCCUPIED TERRITORIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, February 1. The Berlin radio stated that Germany’s income for the third year of war is estimated at £4,000,000,000 sterling (at pre-war rates). Three-quar-ters of this is to be raised by taxation and the remainder from Bohemia, Moravia, and the other occupied territories. Expenditure will be double the income, the balance being financed by credits, a portion of which will be given by industry, which will receive post-war tax reductions in return.
