WOODVILLE MEETING. In deciding upon a seven-race programme for the meeting to be held on the Ashhurst racecourse on Saturday, February 21, the stewards of the Woodville District Jockey Club had in mind that in the event of there being a division race, each division could be run as a separate race. The totalisator would thus be opened eight times, the limit allowable by law. In such event it is the club’s intention to increase the stakes for each division.
