CIVIL WAR REFUGEES
EVACUATION TO AMERICA. FROM FRENCH MOROCCO. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright), (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, January 29.. A former Republican Minister in Spain, Senor Prieto, has gone to Washington to negotiate the evacuation to America of 30,000 Spanish civil war refugees, who still are in a most precarious condition in French Morocco. The Government has issued a decree declaring that Axis nationals henceforth will not be permitted to enter or leave Mexico.
