The weather was fine and cool from the south for the final day of the Wellington meeting on Saturday, and there was a large attendance. The going was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £100,136 10s (win £39,938; place £60,198 10s), compared with £93,773 on the Saturday last year, an increase of £6363 10s. The total for the meeting was £177,959.
