SATISFACTORY SETTLEMENT REPORTED. AUCKLAND MEN RETURN TO WORK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Complying with the order of the Minister of National Service (Mr Semple) to return to work today, sixty employees of the city abattoir resumed work this morning. The men held a meeting at 7.30. Delegates subsequently met the management and reported back to the men. Work was resumed at 8.25.

The manager stated later that the dispute had been satisfactorily settled.
