NEED FOR MORE MILLIONS IN U.S.A. MANY WILL NECESSARILY BE WOMEN. ACCORDING TO MISS PERKINS. (By. Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) . WASHINGTON, January 25. The Secretary of Labour, Miss Frances Perkins, has announced that the United States will have to mobilise young, women as factory workers by 1943. The victory programme would require the mobilisation of 10,000,000 additional workers, many of whom necessarily would be women.
