Riding swiftly up on the footpath behind her on Saturday afternoon, a youth on a'bicycle snatched a handbag containing nearly £2OO in cash, besides a number of other articles, from’ Mrs A. S. Scott, while she was walking along South Crescent Road, Spreydon. Mrs Scott, who is seventy years of age, had been shopping, and she was returning to her home when a youth, aged about seventeen, rode* up swiftly, snatched her handbag and made, off along Barrie Street. He was accompanied by another youth, who was riding on the road.
