REGENT THEATRE

“IT STARTED WITH EVE.” A completely new treatment of songs on the screen is heard in Deanna Durbin’s new Universal film, “It Started With Evo,” co-starring Charles Laughton, which will be shown at the Regent Theatre tonight. Deanna Durbin sings and plays her own piano accompaniment. The picture is probably the best in which Deanna Durbin has appeared. “It Started With Eve,” had long runs in the big centres. The supporting programme includes a “March of Time" —“Peace by Adolf Hitler.”
