OBITUARY
MR LEICESTER MATSON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A prominent figure in stock and station business in Canterbury for over fifty years, Mr Leicester Matson, died in Christchurch this morning. Mr Matson was "73 years of age. He was well known as a judge of live stock and was an auctioneer of wide repute. In his early days he was a well known athlete and competed in various sports meetings with outstanding success. Later in life he took a keen interest in racing and trotting.
