YEARLING SALE AT TRENTHAM, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. At the Trentham yearling sale today a big upstanding colt by Nightmarch— Entreaty, thus a threequarter brother to Phar Lap, went to Dr McGregor Grant, of Auckland, for 320gns. A strongly made colt by Defoe went to R. W. H. Holden for 520 guineas. Dr Nigel Smith, Sydney, gave 550gns for a brown colt by Bulandshar from First Cast. A brown filly by Siegfried— Gobble was bought by agents for 300 guineas.
