BENEFIT TOURNEY GAMES AT MASTERTON PARK. CONCLUDING RESULTS. The following were the results of the concluding games played yesterday at the Park Bowling Club's green in connection with the benefit tourney for the Greytown Club:— Third round: Carr beat Finlayson, 20/2; McLeod beat Carstens, 14/9; Evans beat Braggins, 10/8; Martin beat Smith, 16/5; Kilgour beat Roberts, 17/8; Reid beat Shearer, 16/3.
Fourth round: Braggins beat Carstens, 17/4; Finlayson beat Shearer, 11/7; Smith beat Reid, 21/9; Martin beat Kilgour, 19/13; McLeod beat Roberts, 19/4; Evans beat Carr, 18/8. Fifth round: Roberts beat Braggins, 16/8; Evans beat Shearer, 13/6; Smith beat Finlayson, 18/6; Martin beat McLeod. 17/6; E. Reid drew with Kilgour, 12/12; Carstens, drew with Carr, 12/12. Martin and McLeod tied with four games, Martin winning on the aggregate. Summary of games: Carstens (Masterton), 21 wins, 57 aggregate points; Roberts (Masterton), 11 wins, 50 points; Morton (Masterton), 4 wins. 74 points; E. Reid (Masterton), 31 wins, 62 points; Finlayson (Masterton), 2 wins, 36 points; Evans (Masterton), 3 wins, 56 points; H. Smith (Park), 2| wins, 70 points; Shearer (Park), 1 win, 36 points; Carr (Park), 21 wins, 64 points; Braggins (Park), 1 win, 50 points; McLeod (Greytown), 4 wins, 66 points; W. Kilgour (Greytown), 21 wins, 62 points, PARK CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP FOURS. On Saturday commencing at 1.30 p.m. the first round of the club championship fours will be played when Simpson, Carr, H. Thompson, Shearer (s) will play Wallace, Spackman, Gibson, Kilgour (s) and Andrews, Duckworth, Fenton, Dixon (s) will meet Moore, Newton, O'Donnell, Jenkins (s). The first round of the handicap singles is to be completed by Saturday. Results' of games played during the week are: — Spackman Cup: W. Davies beat A. White, 22/14; Heath beat Davies, 21/17; G. Brown beat White, 26/10; Heath beat McErlich, 24/12. Handicap singles: E. Brown beat Staniforth, 18/10; H. Smith beat Andrews, 20/15. Ferns: Thompson and Kilgour staved off two more challengers, defeating Moore and Simpson (s), 32/9, and E. Brown and H. Smith, 21/13. MASTERTON CLUB GAMES FOR TOMORROW. The following champion four games will be played on Saturday: Davies, Hughes, Hunter and Christian (s) v Palamontain, Kerslake, Malmo, Carstens, at 1.30 p.m. The winners of this game will play Wylie, Thomas, Stubbings and E. J. Reid (s). Shouler, Kennedy, Maxwell and Morton (s) will meet Greenwood, Daniell, Bain and Lewis at 3.30 p.m.
