BOY DROWNED
TRAGEDY AT BROAD BAY.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 18. While attempting to get into a dinghy yesterday afternoon, at Broad Bay, a seaside resort near Dunedin, a boy, Robert Davidson, eight years old. residing at South Dunedin, fell into the water and was drowned. The boy was accompanied by a small boy of four, who ran for assistance. John Hore, former All Black forward, dived and recovered the body. Attempts at artificial resuscitation were unsuccessful.
